GIFTS IN THE ORDINARY

Azalia Molina | $200.00

Acrylic Paint on Canvas | 12' x 12’

This painting places the spiritual gifts of 1 Corinthians 12 in a relatable, everyday space—a still life on a desk that reflects our lives and the narratives our belongings hold. The mirror, framed by a vine, symbolizes unity and self-reflection, while the open book represents wisdom and knowledge, and the candles embody faith and endurance. The vases celebrate service, showing how spiritual gifts are woven into daily life. By presenting these symbols in an ordinary setting, I want to show that spiritual gifts are tangible and accessible, meant to equip us for connection, growth, and grace in the rhythm of our everyday lives.

GOD'S DESIGN FOR MARRIAGE

Love is patient, love is kind ….. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

Many couples choose this passage for their wedding day, as I did with my husband 40 years ago, and this passage describes how we are to love one another with a selfless, unconditional Biblical love. As two that become one, we must strive for this radical love – one that is not a feeling, but an action. Placing God as the foundation and center of our marriage helps us to persevere when life gets tough and enriches us as we rejoice and celebrate the joys life together.

LOVE IS

Kristina Zuniga | $75.00

Listen to Artist

Original Pastel | 9x12

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

God is love. 1 John 4:8

LOVE TRANSFORMS

Lauren Stanger | $100.00

Acrylic Painting

When reading 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, I was reminded that the love of Jesus redeems and transforms us. I then illustrated this truth by combining a realistic earthly setting with an abstract representation of Christ with us.

The silhouette of the person looking into the mirror is personified by the characteristics of someone before they came to Christ. In contrast the silhouette reflected back in the mirror, is joined by Christ who is actively redeeming their heart, thus depicting the new characteristics of a person who is walking in faith.

For by Christ’s perfect love we are free and made new in His likeness.

LOVE: A DAILY LIGHT

Azalia Molina | $200.00

Listen to Artist

Acrylic Paint on Wood Panel, Neon Sign

This piece is inspired by a season of loneliness where I profoundly experienced God’s love. Through people, quiet moments of conviction, and the gift of new beginnings, He reminded me of my worth and His enduring presence.

The glowing neon “Love” symbolizes this constant light, surrounded by words like patient, kind, and hopeful, reflecting the essence of 1 Corinthians 13. This work is a reminder that love is not distant or abstract—it is active, personal, and transformative, reflecting God’s presence in every moment.

Original Acrylic on Mirrors

For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face!  1 Corinthians 13:12 AMPC

Which mirror are we looking in? Which mirror do we see our reflection in? Are we reflecting God's love to others?

MY GREAT REWARD

Casey Siegel | Not for sale

Original Acrylic

Consider 1 Cor. 9:16-18a; Paul understood that the greater reward is the Gospel. It is Christ Himself! We are faced with a question going forward: What rights am I willing to set aside to advance the Gospel...

Jesus came into creation as a baby.

He lived the perfect life.

Jesus died on a cross.

And was buried.

But then,

on the third day

Jesus rose to life!

Return for us, our King

Here your people remain.

We teach, we tell, we grow,

"Good News! Christ saved! Christ reigns!"

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 1 Corinthians 9:24

What kind of discipline and focus should we bring to the race that is set before us, considering that the prize awaiting us is eternal?

THE GOSPEL

Abstract Acrylic

Have you ever wanted to be proficient in sharing the Gospel with your friends and family? We overcomplicate it and lose the simplicity of the message in our atrocity of verbosity. This piece may help you visualize the simplicity of the message.

The Gospel is simply this (1 Cor. 15:3-8):

1) Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

2) Jesus was buried.

3) Jesus was raised on the third day.

4) If you believe this and bow your knee to Christ’s Lordship, YOU WILL BE SAVED.        (Rom.10: 9-10)

THE ILLUMINATED PATH

Rebecca McChristian | $200.00

Reverse Acrylic on Glass

I Corinthians 10:12-13

I enjoy hiking to scenic vistas, but I know not to get too close to the edge. I can relate to thinking I am standing on firm ground, but I still must be careful not to fall. This verse in 1 Corinthians reminded me of a recent hike to White Rock Mountain. The path is very narrow in places and I was hiking close to sunset. I adapted the actual scene to show the sun illuminating a path that will lead out of the dark valley.

Paul reminds us that when we are tempted, God provides a way out. But we need to turn from where we are standing and move towards where He is directing while we can still see the way.

A HEART LIKE HIS

Michelle Jordan | $300.00

Watercolor on Canvas, 20” x 16”

I was inspired by several Scriptures:

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalms 51:10 ESV)

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you, I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26 NIV) (God will take a stubborn, unrepentant heart and replace it with a heart that is responsive and capable of love and obedience to his will.)

“Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD. How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” (Psalms 36:5-7 ESV)

CERULEAN PROCESS

Shari Oliver | $44.00

Paint Pen on Paper, 23” x 19”

Every soul is complete the moment we say yes to Jesus, yet we are also in process. Each color represents a different attribute: Authentic, Spiritual, Generous, Obedient, and Unanxious. The differing ratios of color symbolize our individual growth journeys—how some strengths lead while others are being refined. We are unified in shape and purpose, yet uniquely formed in how His spirit works through us.

This piece was born from a personal wrestling with growth and grace—learning to pursue the heart of God without slipping into perfectionism. It’s a visual reminder that we are fully loved as we are, and yet lovingly called into deeper formation. The geometry is simple, but the message is layered: we belong, we are becoming, and our hearts are for the King.

COGNITIVE DISTORTIONS

Abby McCann | Not for sale

Mixed Media – Clay, Acrylic, Watercolor, and Crayon on Wood Board

In Cognitive Distortions, I explore the tension between my fears and the faithfulness of the Lord. Too often, I turn inward, losing sight of the love and strength the Holy Spirit offers. Cognitive distortions—irrational, self-focused thoughts—convince me I am empty and purposeless, like a flower stripped of its petals, exposed to the elements and unable to thrive. Yet God’s truth is greater. He provides the petals, designing them with beauty and purpose, sustaining and clothing us through His divine hand. The artwork’s stark contrast reflects this struggle: a frail, petal-less flower at the center represents distorted thinking, while a vibrant rush of colorful petals encircling it symbolizes God’s abundant blessings.

But if God dresses the grass of the field in this way, although it is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not do so much more for you, you of little faith? Matthew 6:30, LEB

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6–7, LEB

PLATTER OF FISH

Jennifer Baugh | $500.00

Prismacolor Pencils and Oil Pastels on Paper

As Christians, we are called to be a light for all people. We have a gifted opportunity to show empathy, compassion, care, and loving kindness to others. In doing so, Christ will be seen in us. The hope then, is that our light will ignite the light of Christ in another and the community will blossom.

Matthew 7:12 invites us to join in Christ's community.

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

Platter of Fish was created using a pewter fish shaped platter as a template. As one fish took shape another was created alongside it until the page was full. The light of Christ can be seen as an ultraviolet light passes among the fish. One light shines through and then the next as the community grows.

Purified (Let it Be) was born from a desire to put the words of Jesus in Matthew 5 to melody. Our hope is that this song gives you one more way to carry His words with you, to sing them over your life and let them shape your heart.

REVERSAL

Suzanne Underwood Rhodes | Not for sale

Original Poem

This poem is written in a French form called a dizain, dating back to the 15th century, which means “decades,” or tens. The form calls for ten lines of ten syllables each, and these follow a set rhyme scheme of ABABBCCDCD. Some of my rhymes are “slant” or approximate, like “breast” and “breath,” “daylight” and “mate,” and this I intended to embody the irregularities and disruptions we experience in this ragged earthly life.

I was inspired to write the poem by contemplating the Beatitude “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” (Matt. 5:4). Having lost my beloved husband Wayne to sudden death, having found him dead but being unable to comprehend death in that surreal moment when I held him in my arms, I find my “flood subject” in writing to be heaven and resurrection. Not only him but also my sister Robyn who died of cancer when she was only 38, and I remember touching her stone face in the casket and inwardly, defiantly proclaiming that death was never meant to be and that she who loved Jesus and led me to him was not there in that cold carapace.

Some dark streak of me will always be in mourning. Some brightness of heaven will forever comfort me.

THE SERMON AND THE MOUNT BEFORE

Margret M. Walker | Not for sale

Original Poem

“Flummoxed” might be a better title.

How can it be that the humble, the ones who mourn inherit the Kingdom of heaven? And yet, this as yet unseen kingdom is real now. I am captive of it and can hear the echoes of its warnings. The Sermon on the Mount is a world heard, then seen, then heeded. Flummoxed, yes!

Even here in these ‘beatitudes’—these blessings—he shows us who will inherit heaven here and now and then the Kingdom prepared.

UNANXIOUS FLOWERS

Howard Thompson | Not for sale

Photograph

The unanxious heart is like the lilies of the field or the birds in the air. This photo along ARK14 contrasts the anxious and the unanxious heart. The lilies (actually daffodils) were planted decades ago and keep coming back without a care in the world, oblivious to time. They show the splendor and grace of the ultimate Gardener, which contrasts the old abandoned house in the background. Without caring and faith it has decayed much like those with the anxious earthly heart.

What has become of the owners of the house? Lord only knows.  Are they lost in time? Lord only knows. They have moved on – but to what end? Lord only knows. Was it because their cares were more of this earth than of faith? Lord only knows. Did their anxiety of this earth overcome the unanxious heart of faith? Lord only knows.

BUT the house faith built is disappearing - unless someone with vision and faith brings restoration.

UNDER HIS WINGS

Kathleen Woolsey | Not for sale

Mixed Media on Canvas, 20”x20”

This painting is a visual meditation on the contrast between inner peace and external chaos.

The storm raging in the background represents the ever-present worries and anxieties that threaten to overwhelm us. Its dark clouds and restless energy echo the emotional turbulence we often face in our lives.

In the foreground, a woman sits at peace, untouched by the storm. Above her a dove symbolizes God’s presence, quiet yet unwavering, constant. The beauty of the birds and wildflowers that surround her, serve as reminders of His care. God knows and provides what his children need.

This work is a tribute to the peace that can be found through faith and trust.

YOUR FATHER, WHO SEES WHAT IS DONE IN SECRET

Jimmy Cook | Not for sale

Original Poem

This poem is a meditation on Jesus’ promise in Matthew 6, that we can encounter the creator of the universe in the secret places of internal lives. The authors of the New Testament argue that God’s Spirit dwells in us, and that we are a new kind of temple. In the ancient world the temple was the place where heaven touches earth. For followers of Jesus, that place of connection is in our interior life with God.
